The documentary shows intense battles for Artyomovsk, a fortified town, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine turned into a symbol of their military strength.
It is the story of "Gong," a local commander, whose father and son were killed by Ukrainian nationalists. He returns home through the ruins and confronts captured Ukrainian soldiers, asking them uncomfortable questions. What are they doing in his town in Donbas? Why are they killing people living on their dads and grandads land?
