ERT - Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, the state broadcasting corporation of Greece, has acquired broadcasting rights for two seasons of the TV drama "Godunov".

The licensing agreement was signed by Sovtelexport, the official distributor of Russia Television and Radio content.

The first eight episodes of the notable period drama "Godunov" will be broadcast in March 2019 on the flagship channel ERT3. As per the agreement, the second season of the series "Godunov. Continuation" will be available after its domestic premiere on "Russia 1" channel.

The viewers in Greece and Cyprus have already seen content from Russia Television and Radio on ERT channels. Earlier Sovtelexport has sold to these territories a package of documentary and feature films, a line-up of historical series and screen adaptations of Russian classics, including such big projects as "Ekaterina. Season 1", "Ekaterina. Season 2", "Sophia" and "Anna Karenina".
