New deals signed by Sovtelexport

The company has agreed to sell online and VOD rights to season II of the highly acclaimed historical drama “Ekaterina”, adding to an earlier deal for season I. The sales territory is China, except Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau. The success marks an increasingly strong relationship with Chinese distributors and steady demand for VGTRK content.
In a separate deal, China’s state broadcaster CCTV is to air Russian spy action film “The Soul of a Spy”. CCTV already has rights for WWII thriller "Ash”.
