Sovtelexport and LEO Communications signed an agreement to license the broadcast rights for top Russian drama series and telenovellas in Pakistan.

TV audience in Pakistani viewers can now see several of Russia’s best dramas:

· “Sophia” – a period costume drama and love story about the last Byzantium princess who came to Russia to marry Tsar Ivan III and brought controversy and change with her.

· “Ekaterina” – a highly acclaimed historical series about the most famous Russian Empress, Catherine the Great

· Two long series: “Janissary” and “While the Village is Sleeping”
