Russian cinema proves its competitiveness at the Cannes Film Market
23 May marked the end of one of the largest film markets in the world, Marché du Film, which takes place as part of the Cannes Film Festival in France. This year, it was attended by more than 5,000 companies from 108 countries. The Russian film industry was represented by the RUSSIAN CINEMA stand, where SOVTELEEXPORT, the distributor of Russia Television and Radio content, once again presented their latest catalogue.

Marché du Film, one of the world’s largest international film markets, was held in Cannes (France) from 14 to 23 May.
Technological Advances in Sport at BANFF 2014
The 35th Banff World Media Festival, the world-famous Canadian festival of film and TV content, will be held from 8 to 11 June. "Technological Advances in Sport", a documentary produced by Russia Television and Radio, has been nominated in the Science and Technology category of the festival’s Rockie Awards.

RUSSIAN CINEMA MEETS WITH SUCCESS AT EFM 2014 IN BERLIN
From 6 to 14 February, the 64th Berlin International Film Festival hosted a successful European Film Market, one of the world’s largest film forums. Russian cinema at the EFM was presented via the national RUSSIAN CINEMA stand, which brought together Russia Television and Radio’s international distributor SOVTELEXPORT with other major studios.
