THE LU BROTHERS

Long ago in China, there lived three twin brothers named Lu. They looked so alike that even their own mother could only tell them apart by the colored ribbons tied around their wrists. Each brother had a unique ability: one could control fire, making it blaze stronger or extinguish completely; another could control water, drinking an entire sea and returning it at will; and the third could understand the language of nature — birds, animals, and fish. The brothers were kind-hearted and always helped people, animals, and each other.
