Sovtelexport opens the year with a new licensing deal.

Russian period drama "Anna Karenina" is heading to Brazil following a new licensing agreement with a long-standing partner in Latin America. The TV adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s classic novel is licensed by Brazilian cultural broadcaster Arte1, where it will air in Russian with Portuguese subtitles. The deal follows the recent rollout of multiple Russia TV and Radio's titles on Claro TV+ in Brazil. The streaming platform added a diverse multi-genre slate, including romantic drama "Deep Sea Between Us", historical series "The Blood Widow" and "Ekaterina", mystical thrillers "Dreamcatcher" and "Inside the Criminal Mind", and action drama "Fever".
