In the autumn of 2014, the world-famous 42nd International Emmy® TV Awards Gala will take place in the US. This year, shows produced by Russia Television and Radio have been entered into competition in the News and Documentary and TV Movie/Mini-Series categories.

In June, distribution company SOVELEEXPORT signed several contracts regarding the sale of two feature-length projects produced by Russia Television and Radio for the European television market.

23 May marked the end of one of the largest film markets in the world, Marché du Film, which takes place as part of the Cannes Film Festival in France. This year, it was attended by more than 5,000 companies from 108 countries. Marché du Film, one of the world’s largest international film markets, was held in Cannes (France) from 14 to 23 May.

The 35th Banff World Media Festival, the world-famous Canadian festival of film and TV content, will be held from 8 to 11 June. "Technological Advances in Sport", a documentary produced by Russia Television and Radio, has been nominated in the Science and Technology category of the festival’s Rockie Awards.
