The eight-episode film version of Zakhar Prilepin’s novel, "Cloister", earned nomination for Best Series at the 2021 edition of the Venice TV Award (VTVA).

The VTVA gathers international jurors every year at the end of September to honor the best television works from all over the world.

This year, 98 companies from 29 countries took part in the competition. Gold Trophies and Nominees were given in 16 different categories. Among other nominees in the Best Series category are such majors as HBO (UK), Paramount+ (USA), Sky (Italy), Canal+ Creation Originale (France) and others.
