MEXICOS LARGEST CULTURE TV CHANNEL WILL SHOW ANNA KARENINA AND DEMONS
Mexicos public television company Television Metropolitana, S.A de C.V. has purchased the broadcasting and digital rights for the screen versions of classical Russian novels TV series "Anna Karenina" and "Demons".
Mexicos TV audiences will be able to see "Anna Karenina", the costume drama adaption of Leo Tolstoys world-famous novel, as well as "Demons", a thrilling, mystical detective story based on Fyodor Dostoevskys novel by the same name, on the popular culture channel, Canal 22.
Russia Television and Radios content is in demand in Mexico. Historical and documentary films from the holdings catalog had been sold to this country before. Previous sales included such series as "Ekaterina", "Life and Fate", "Fyodor Dostoevsky" and "Einstein: the Theory of Love".
