American Arabic-language satellite channel Alhurra has acquired "The President" documentary for over 20 countries of Middle East and Northern Africa, as per the agreement with Sovtelexport, Russia Television and Radio content distributor.

The full-length film tells about 15 years of Vladimir Putin’s rule in Russia, focusing on major national and global events at the time. It will air on the top-rated pan-Arabic channel Alhurra that reaches 26 million viewers per week, surpassing BBC, CNN and France 24 coverage in Arabic language.
