Sovtelexport and parent company CME Programming B.V. signed an agreement with bTV Media Group licensing the rights to broadcast a line-up of top VGTRK series.

Drama series about strong women are now more popular than ever among international buyers. bTV Media Group chose several top Russian dramas for its prime slots in Bulgaria:
• “Anna Karenina” – a new adaptation of the famous Tolstoy novel.
• “Ekaterina” – season II of the acclaimed series about the most famous Russian Empress, Catherine the Great.
• “Russian Beauty” – a charming series about the first Soviet fashion model in the 1960s.
