RUSSIA TELEVISION AND RADIO TV PROGRAMMES TO BE SHOWN IN TURKEY

The TV series "Fyodor Dostoevsky" and "Idiot" and the documentary "The Battle for Stalingrad" will be broadcast on Sterk TV between autumn 2015 and winter 2017.
SOVTELEXPORT announces sale of rights to broadcast content from the Russia Television and Radio catalogue in Turkey on Kurdish channel Sterk TV with distributors Pel Yapim Prodüksiyon Reklam for:
• "Fyodor Dostoevsky", a classical drama mini-series based on the life of the world-renowned Russian writer.
• "Idiot", a dramatization of the famous novel by Dostoevsky.
• "The Battle for Stalingrad", a documentary about the greatest battle of the Second World War.

Whilst participating on the Russian Cinema stand at SIFF Market, an international film market in Shanghai held between 14 and 16 June, Sovtelexport announced the sale of TV broadcasting rights to a large Chinese distributor of five World War Two documentaries. All the films will be shown by China’s largest state broadcaster, CCTV, in summer.
