"THE IRON IVAN": SUCCESS AT MARCHÉ DU FILM 2014

Marché du Film, one of the world’s largest international film markets, was held in Cannes (France) from 14 to 23 May.
The SOVTELEEXPORT distribution company successfully presented a new biopic entitled "The Iron Ivan", directed by Gleb Orlov, about the life of the Russian wrestler Ivan Poddubny, a true ‘Iron Man’.
Presales of the film started in February this year (at the FILMART film and television market in Hong Kong), and continued in Cannes.

23 May marked the end of one of the largest film markets in the world, Marché du Film, which takes place as part of the Cannes Film Festival in France. This year, it was attended by more than 5,000 companies from 108 countries. The Russian film industry was represented by the RUSSIAN CINEMA stand, where SOVTELEEXPORT, the distributor of Russia Television and Radio content, once again presented their latest catalogue.
