A contemporary musical fantasy based on the famous story of Buratino (aka, Pinocchio) Producer Karabas Barabas dreams of using puppets instead of actors. When his wish comes true and those who sign his magic contract turn into puppets, Karabas is overjoyed. He pulls strings, they sing; if he does not, they remain silent. All goes well until Buratino appears.
