SALT

Throughout the growth of civilization people fought and died for salt! Men of antiquity knew it was worth its weight in gold and used it to buy, entice and corrupt. Alchemists thought it was the essence of all living things, that it had numerous magical qualities. Salt always was and always will be present in our land, water, salt shakers, even the tears of a child. Scientists insist that without salt our world would have turned out quite differently.
