Dasha has always loved Dima, her older sister Olgas boyfriend, but he never noticed her. He was always under control of his selfish and demanding girlfriend. At Dimas birthday party, Olgas jealousy sparks a fight, leading her to leave him. Heartbroken, Dima drinks too much and spends the night with Dasha.
When Olga finds out, she ends the relationship and kicks her sister out. Dima spirals into depression, losing his job, home, and documents. Dasha moves away, eventually giving birth to their son, Yegor.
Dasha keeps loving Dima and despite the hardships, fate brings them back together again.
