The TV version of the legendary rock opera by Moscow Lenkom Theatre.
It tells the true tragic story of a Russian count who falls in love with Conchita, the daughter of the Spanish governor of San Francisco. Because of religion and politics, they cannot be together. The count has to leave San Francisco forever. Having lost her beloved, Conchita remains faithful to him until the end of her life. Staged 45 years ago, it has toured the US and Europe and still sells out in Moscow.
Beautiful music and brilliant acting make this show a touching hymn to love and devotion.
