1943. World War II is tearing the world apart. A team of Soviet physicists is given an impossible mission: to urgently build an atomic bomb. At the same time, agents are sent to access American research data and steal the secrets of the weapon.
The exhausting and dangerous work of creating the most terrifying weapon of the 20th century begins. Both scientists and agents push beyond their limits, sacrificing love, family, and their own well-being. Relying on cold logic only, they pursue just one goal: protect their country and prevent a nuclear catastrophe that could change the world forever.
