"The Spy", the latest action movie produced by VGTRK and Nikita Mikhalkovs Studio "TriTe" based on "The Spy Thriller" by Boris Akunin, was demonstrated to the British audience.

"The Spy", the latest action movie produced by VGTRK and Nikita Mikhalkovs Studio "TriTe" based on "The Spy Thriller" by Boris Akunin, was demonstrated to the British audience. The premier show was held at the London KinoKlub on April 16, 2012, as part of this years SLOVO Russian Literature Festival traditionally timed to the London Book Fair. Made within the genre of adventure detective, "Spy" is provided by the elements of cinema comic strips which is rather new for the Russian cinematograph. Featuring an all-star cast, which includes Fyodor Bondarchuk, Vladimir Yepifantsev and Danila Kozlovsky, the film displays a secret operation carried out by the intelligences of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany on the eve of World War II.
