The documentary film "Homo Artificial" has been nominated in the Rockies Program Competition at the Banff World Media Festival 2013

The largest annual international television and digital media content festival will take place in Canada on June 9–12. The film produced by Russia Television and Radio has been nominated for the 2013 Rockies Grand Prize.

The Banff World Media Festival is a major event, bringing together leading players from the US, Asian, and European television industries. For the past three decades, representatives of major companies from 40 different countries have convened to share their unique experience and expertise in the field of television production.

This year, Russia Television and Radio’s new documentary, "Defeating Old Age", from the "Homo Artificial" series, will take part in the Banff World Media Festival.

This film, produced by TV Channel Russia 2, provides an insight into the popularization and potential of innovative technologies in the field of medicine. It has been nominated in the Popular Science & Technology Programs category.
At the awards ceremony on June 9, the jury will announce the winners in each of the categories, which will then compete for the festival’s main award, the Jury Grand Prize.
