Golden Eagle Cinema Award - 2010
The distribution of the Golden Eagle – 2010 Award, the one most prestigious for today in the Russian professional cinema, was held in Moscow on January 21, 2011.
"Kandahar" was among five movies applying for the Best Film of the Year. Also, "Kandahar" was chosen as a nominee for Best Actor - Male (Alexander Baluyev), and Best Actor in a Supporting Role - Male (Vladimir Mashkov, Andrey Panin).
In all, there had been 52 movies, 38 documentaries, 15 mini-series and 40 animation pictures presented before the jury.
