GOLDEN COLLECTION OF RUSSIAN FILMS COMES TO IRAQ

Iraqi television will air over 180 hours of recent programming produced by Russia Television and Radio.

SOVTELEXPORT and distributor Layen Film Reklam Yapim Organizasyon Turizm Sanayi Ve Ticaret have signed an agreement to broadcast an extensive package of content produced by Russia Television and Radio. The contract grants a two-year licence to air 50 feature and documentary titles.
The main focus is on screen adaptations of Russian literary classics: "Fathers and Sons", "Idiot", "Life and Fatee" and "The White Guard", as well as a range of military and cultural documentaries.
Layen has also expressed interest in the newest additions to the catalogue, including the dramas "And Quiet Flows the Don", "An Uppercut to Hitler" and "French Cuisine".
