Sovtelexport has sold the rights for two seasons of the historical TV-series Ekaterina to a Japanese TV channel, Channel Ginga Japan.

The TV-series Ekaterina is a successful Russian TV programme and is one of the bestselling Russian productions on the international markets. More than 50 countries of the world have bought the Series.

This historical drama about the private life of Russian Empress Ekaterina the Great, boggles the mind with its dramatics, luxury costumes, and magnificent interiors. 5.3 million Japanese viewers will see the series on Channel Ginga Japan.
