"The Spy" Nominated for Annual Nika 2013 Film Awards

The Nika 2013 26th National Film Awards Ceremony of the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Sciences will be held in Moscow on 2 April. This production by Russia Television and Radio is in the running for the top awards in two nomination categories.

On 6 March, the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Sciences announced the nominees fo the country’s most prestigious film awards, which have been held yearly since 1988. Amongs the nominees was the feature film "The Spy" by young Russian film director Aleksey Andrianov. The detective thriller from TV Channel Russia is up for awards in two categories: Discovery of the Year and Production Design (Viktor Petrov).
A special prize, For Creative Achievement in Films Made for TV, will be awarded to Sergei Ursuliak, director of the TV film "Life and Fate".
