DENAZIFICATION

After the fall of the Soviet Union, Ukraine aimed to create its own state and national identity. Armed with the nationalists' slogan "Ukraine above all" copied from Nazi "Deutschland über alles", Ukrainian elite consistently implemented national superiority principle and hatred towards those who didn't support the anti-Russian course. They were proclaimed subhumans and doomed to be destroyed morally and even physically. New authorities deprived them of education in their native language, openly encouraged bullying and murdering them, set those who protested on fire in Odessa's Trade Union House, brutally bombed and killed Russians in Donbas.

Last 30 years brought up two generations of young people advocating hatred to those who lived, worked hard and created cultural heritage of the country for centuries.

The film gives a realistic look at the modern Ukrainian society with cult of Stepan Bandera, a person who put Nazi ideology into life.
