Special jury prizes were awarded to Russia Television and Radio documentaries at the annual TEFI television awards on 25 June.

The award for outstanding individual contribution went to Saida Medvedeva, producer of "The President". The documentary was made to mark the 15th anniversary of Vladimir Putin first coming to power as head of the Russian state. "The President" discusses major issues in international politics, as well as the recent history and future of Russia.

The award for the analysis of modern history was given to "Crimea. The Way Home". The film centres around two revealing interviews with Vladimir Putin concerning the events in Crimea during the spring of 2014.
