RUSSIA TELEVISION AND RADIO CONTENT FOR THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF VICTORY

This year, which marks the 70th anniversary of the Allied victory in World War II, television documentaries about the war are in high demand around the world.
SOVTELEXPORT, the distribution company for Russia Television and Radio, has sold the broadcasting rights to a series of documentaries to MiaoHD International Limited (China).
The following Russia Television and Radio productions about World War II will be shown on China’s CCTV-10 channel in May and July 2015: "Stalin’s Falcons. Winged Penal Battalion"; "1944. The Battle for Crimea"; "History’s Greatest Tank Battle"; "Marshal Zhukov"; and "The Battle for Stalingrad".

RUSSIAN WORLD WAR TWO DOCUMENTARIES PRODUCED BY RUSSIA TELEVISION AND RADIO TO BE BROADCAST ON CHINESE TELEVISION

Whilst participating on the Russian Cinema stand at SIFF Market, an international film market in Shanghai held between 14 and 16 June, Sovtelexport announced the sale of TV broadcasting rights to a large Chinese distributor of five World War Two documentaries. All the films will be shown by China’s largest state broadcaster, CCTV, in summer.
