On 5 June, the awards ceremony for the 19th To Save and Preserve international ecological television festival was held in Khanty-Mansiysk.

The Festivals Grand Prix or Golden Loon was awarded to "The Amur Leopard", a documentary by Russia Television and Radio. The documentary features unique footage shot in the Land of the Leopard national park using the latest hidden camera technology. The park is the only place on the planet where these vanishing predators still survive.
The film follows the lives of a family of these wild cats (which are classified as critically endangered in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species). It was judged to be the best of 420 competition entries from 37 different countries, including Germany, the UK, the US, Canada, Switzerland, Belgium and Finland.
